DEPLOYMENT DATE: December, 2019

We just appreciate everything you’ve done for us and the support you have for us … Badass Boxes has been a force multiplier for this team and even members of our subordinate teams. We honestly can’t thank you enough for everything! … Thank you  and your Team for making this holiday season special for us!

DEPLOYMENT DATE: August, 2019

I contacted Bad Ass Boxes after seeing a leftover candle in one of our Landcruisers. I looked it up and asked a friend about it. He had used them before and swore by them so I contacted the company on the phone. The president of the company personally answered the phone and walked me through the process. She was very helpful and it was refreshing talking to an individual rather than going through a maze of e-mail chains.
We have received care packages before from other organizations and while nice and caring, they didn’t really cater to the needs or wants of the special operations community. As stated above, BAB spoke with us about what we liked and needed. It was perfect. Instead of the usual items like candy, broken cookies and retired DVDs, BAB sent us exactly what we wanted and needed (Mountain Houses, Gu packets, et al.). Most of the time care packages are left in an area for people to grab stuff and they remain there for months and weeks at a time. Or they get shipped to a unit and the support staff rips them open before the operators get a chance to look through the goods. Bad Ass Boxes worked directly with the operators and made sure that we got what was sent.
Every time a BAB showed up, they were torn apart and everything was used and fast! People started asking me when the next shipment was coming in. I cannot recommend BAB enough to other SOF members. They were extremely friendly and really know what guys like us want while we were deployed.

DEPLOYMENT DATE: March, 2019

This is my second deployment in which I have come to know and love BAD ASS Boxes. Y’all are far and away the best care package production out there.  Getting to pick out the items that’ll suit the boys is an excellent idea.  Every package gets picked clean and nothing’s wasted.  It is obvious the amount of time and careful selection that goes into each BAD ASS Box. You guys know what’s up.
Thank you for the support and lifting our spirits.

DEPLOYMENT DATE: November, 2018

Badass Boxes,
Wanted to make sure to send a message and thank you for your continual support throughout our deployment. Badass boxes were by far the best care packages we received. Your diligence to seek out specific items which the platoon was in short supply of went above and beyond anything we’ve ever seen or could have asked for. Thank you so much for your time and effort. It’s very humbling to know there are badass folks like yourselves with such a willingness and motivation to support. Thank you!

DEPLOYMENT DATE: September, 2017

Wanted to say a HUGE thank you for taking care of my husband while he was gone. He is now home and the kids and him have been building Lego sets you sent, reconnecting and bonding with each one. I would love to connect and also anything I can do to help and support and get the word about about all the good you are doing for our guys I am happy to.

DEPLOYMENT DATE: August, 2017

Thank you so much for all of the boxes you sent us throughout deployment. The quality of food out here was pretty awful so having these boxes was a huge morale boost. I personally got sick whenever I ate the food out here so most of my meals consisted of things you guys sent out. I would probably be about 50 pounds lighter if it weren’t for you guys. Your packages made our undesirable living conditions somewhat desirable and on top of that its nice to know that there are people who really care about us and support what we are doing out here. So thanks again for all the boxes and the support you guys are amazing!

DEPLOYMENT DATE: August, 2017

Dear Bad Ass Box Lady,
Thanks so much for sending us all the packages. Care packages go a long way for guys who have been away from home for a long time. We very much appreciated your support and extreme generosity from you and your supporters.

DEPLOYMENT DATE: August, 2017

Thank you for supporting our platoon. On a scale of 1 to 10. One being the worst environment imaginable and ten being paradise. Our location is about a two. However, the bad ass boxes made this place manageable.  It’s actually tough to imagine our deployment without your support because it made such a difference. Morale was never as high as when we received the care packages from you all. I personally enjoyed the canned tuna salad and would always have one in my pack during operations. The mountain houses were also critical, especially when guys started getting sick from the local food. I appreciated the hygiene supplies because my roommate D smelled terrible(I made him use the products you sent). I wish I could shake your hand and thank you in person but this email will have to do.

DEPLOYMENT DATE: August, 2017

I wanted to personally thank you for the care packages you have generously sent us throughout our deployment.
At the end of the day, it makes a huge difference coming back an opening them up. Definitely a morale booster knowing that there’s people back home supporting us the whole way through. We do not personally know each other but I will carry on your acts of kindness and pass them on to someone who will need them in the not so distant future. Much love!

DEPLOYMENT DATE: August, 2017

To Whom It May Concern,
Thank you so much for sending our Platoon the best care packages I have ever received on a deployment. Your consideration, care and support for all of us have been recognized by far as the best we could ask for and we are all extremely grateful. We received numerous boxes to our forward outstation that have reached us in our time of need. It was awesome to receive such BADASS boxes that contained food, supplies and morale from a supportive patriot. Thank you for your help, dedication and aiding those who are forward deployed with limited resources. I would highly recommend anyone in NSW to receive care packages from BADASS boxes.
Cheers,

The contents of your boxes raised spirits and made mail call exciting every time. Our quality of life was better thanks to you. Thank you for doing what you do, and for living up to your name!

We can’t say thanks enough for all the support you guys sent our way this deployment. It’s awesome to have such great people back home like you guys sending us care packages. It makes a huge impact in our ability to do our job. Thanks again for the badass support!!

“All of the boxes arrived today! All of the guys were very happy. We were totally out of food. The dude wipes were a big hit! Thank you again for everything you are doing for us, it is helping us out more then you know. I will be on the look out for the beard box.”

DEPLOYMENT DATE: April, 2017

Most of the guys in my platoon were on at least their 3rd deployment, some on their 5th or 6th, so there was a good amount of experience on what to expect, comfort-wise, and a certain level of acceptance for the living conditions for where we were. Once we got on-site, I got the turnover from the previous platoon and a contact number for Bad Ass Boxes was part of it. I was thinking it was just going to be another run of the mill care package company. I could NOT  have been more wrong. The boxes had everything we needed AND wanted, and nothing we didn’t. Having communication with someone before packages are built and sent is a huge difference between this company and any others. Morale can get pretty low when the work slows down during the holiday season, but Bad Ass Boxes made a huge difference this time. On any of my other deployments, I’ve never seen the morale any higher than this one. Keep it up, the fellas downrange appreciate it!!

DEPLOYMENT DATE: December, 2016

Multiple people have said this is the best Christmas ever!
You’ve gotten many thank yous for me to pass along. You guys are awesome

DEPLOYMENT DATE: November, 2016

“You the freakin wo-man! We just got the first shipment finally, Seriously, incredible. Thank you.”

DEPLOYMENT DATE: July, 2016

Thanks for the packages throughout our deployment. They definitely raised spirits and seemed to always come at the right times. It’s cool to see the effort and care that goes in to them. The next platoon deploying here is in badass time. Thanks again.

DEPLOYMENT DATE: June, 2016

We got our boxes today! The guys were so excited. We had no idea how awesome they were going to be. For like 5 or 10 minutes we passed around the french vanilla creamer and just smelled it. I wish you could have seen the expression on their faces when I pulled out the dip. It really meant a lot to us and we really appreciate all of it. One of my guys told me that was the nicest thing anyone has done for him out of all of his deployments. We would like to send you guys a photo if that would be ok.

DEPLOYMENT DATE: January, 2016

On behalf of the entire platoon I wanted to thank Bad Ass Boxes for their time and generosity. The plethora of items exponentially increased the comfort and morale of all the men at our outstation. Having done a good amount of overseas deployments I can honestly say these were the most practical and useful care packages I have experienced in over a decade of service. We recently received a few shipments of mountain house meals direct from the supplier via BAB and they will happily hold guys over until we get back. Again thank you all for truly making a difference to those who serve.
Very respectfully

DEPLOYMENT DATE: December, 2015

Got the holiday boxes today! Looks like it was 3x big brown boxes, the triangle box and one long rectangle box. First off let me say that guys were stoked! Highest morale I’ve seen in quite some time. These boxes were absolutely awesome. We gathered up all the thanksgiving food and handed it off to our cook, he promised to cook it all on thanksgiving. Guys thought the Legos, remote control cars and helicopters were awesome. We took the rest of the Christmas box and put it away so we have some stuff to enjoy next month. Everyone approved of the poster choices and well really every choice in all the boxes, good stuff. Please thank everyone for the thought and generosity. Oh yah, nice touch with the pink electric water boilers

DEPLOYMENT DATE: December, 2015

Dear Bad Ass Boxes
I just wanted to take the time to say thank you so much for the packages, they make all the difference in the world. As a single guy with not much family I didn’t expect to be opening much mail this deployment, but your packages were an unexpected surprise. The food here isn’t much to get excited about so opening them up to some real food really was a highlight of the deployment. I hope you know that what you do makes a difference in peoples lives and that we really do appreciate what it. Keep it up, we are waiting anxiously for the next box of goodies.
Sincerely,
A grateful Sailor.

DEPLOYMENT DATE: December, 2015

Dear Bad Ass Boxes
We all really appreciate the care packages. We are hurtin’ on good food out here so your boxes are definitely a pick me up. There’s just something about knowing that there are people back home that support us that make the days here a little easier. Thanks so much for everything you all do. It’s pretty awesome to have an organization like you guys sending stuff out to the troops, really helps us get through the tough times away from home.
Sincerely,
A grateful Sailor

DEPLOYMENT DATE: December, 2015

Dear Bad Ass Boxes
We just got our first shipment of your care packages and I wanted to say thanks. The food was a great change and we had a blast building the legos that you sent us. It was a great break from the day to day monotony. I can’t tell you how much it meant to us to get mail from folks back home that care. We all really appreciate what you do for us and other troops all over. Can’t wait to see what’s in the next shipment. Thanks again
Sincerely
A grateful sailor

DEPLOYMENT DATE: December, 2015

Dear Bad Ass Boxes
Thanks for the care packages, they mean a lot to all of us. Everyone here really appreciates you guys caring enough to send stuff out here. With the food situation out here having snacks is a huge pick me up. We would love it if you could continue to send stuff out here, but we are grateful for whatever you can send. Thanks again
Sincerely
A greatful Sailor
(P.S. Thanks for the legos.)

DEPLOYMENT DATE: December, 2015

Dear Bad Ass Boxes
Hey thanks for sending the care packages. It had been a while since we had gotten mail out here so having some stuff for everyone to share was pretty cool. Snacks are always awesome to get because the food here isn’t that great. You guys are awesome, not everyone cares enough to send packages to the troops. We are all really grateful for the support. If you were planning to send another shipment we would really appreciate it.
Sincerely
A Grateful Sailor.

DEPLOYMENT DATE: December, 2015

Dear bad ass boxes,
Thanks for your support, the items you sent are a real morale booster.
Hope all is well back in the states. Writing you this letter is the least we can do to show our appreciation. You guys are awesome. Keep up the good work and we will do the same. You are a true American.
Sincerely, a grateful sailor

DEPLOYMENT DATE: December, 2015

Dear bad-ass boxes,
You guys are awesome for sending us care packages. Thanks so much for everything you do for the troops. It really means the world to hear from some true Americans that appreciate what we do. People like you are the reason that we do what we do. The food you guys sent was a true blessing. God Bless.
 Sincerely
A Grateful Sailor.

DEPLOYMENT DATE: December, 2015

DEPLOYMENT DATE: December, 2015

Dear bad ass boxes,
Thank you so much for the support and all your care packages! It’s always exciting to get care packages here. Mail comes in pretty slow here so when we get a bunch of care packages like that it’s always a good day and everyone can’t wait to see what’s inside! Everyone here really appreciates what you guys do for us. I hope you and your families all have wonderful holidays this year! Thank you so much for all the boxes and for keeping us in mind. It really means a lot to everyone here! Keep up the good work!
Sincerely
A grateful sailor

DEPLOYMENT DATE: November, 2015

I can’t thank you and the all the volunteers enough. The packages you guys have been sending are absolutely clutch. We seem to have a much shittier mail predicament then the other cats out here.

DEPLOYMENT DATE: November, 2015

I am so happy to say we just got 3 boxes. All mountain house. The boys are crushing them. People are insanely happier. The rest of the mail should filter in shortly.

DEPLOYMENT DATE: November, 2015

Got a ton of mountain houses today! Damn! That’s some gangster shit right there. In no way we’re we expecting that many. Guys were really pumped up. We also got that awesome hot sauce. Never had mad Anthony’s before but it’s good stuff. Guys were putting it on everything. That hot mustard is the deal, all we have here is these weird pasty mustard packages. All around I’d say it was a good day. On behalf of everyone here thank you all so much. Seriously it makes a big difference

DEPLOYMENT DATE: November, 2015

Dear Badassboxes,
I am I stationed in a real sandy part of Iraq. When we first arrived here it was a bit hot but as of late it has cooled off and I am looking forward to more cooler days and nights. We are staying pretty busy out here which is a good thing and I think I speak for most of the guys out here when I say that I think we would rather be busy than the alternative.
I do miss home as I am sure almost all of us do. I miss good healthy food the most. All of the food the government blesses us with out here was invented by grumpy scientists with burnt taste buds. I miss good food more and more out here, but that’s an easy thing to harp on. I sure do miss my loved ones as well, and I can’t forget about my little dog… and I do mean little. Please don’t judge me for having a small dog; not all amazingly good looking, above average vertical jump, perfect shoulder to waist ratio and a solid hand shake men have “big manly dogs”.
When we receive mail from y’all it sure does mean a lot. I would say that getting mail out here is a huge moral booster for most of the guys out here. Every time we get a package from your organization EVERY single guy out here speed walks/runs to the mail room to see what goodness is now in our reach. Everything you send us goes to good use, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your generosity keeps us healthy, happy and ready to fight for our great country. Thank you for what you have done and will continue to do for our platoon and countless others.

DEPLOYMENT DATE: November, 2015

To the good folks at BadAssBoxes.org,
I just wanted to send a quick note and a huge THANK YOU for everything you have done for us. Being deployed definitely makes us appreciate the small comfort items that we don’t think about back home. As a result, the boxes you send, full of stuff like candles (it stinks out here), snacks, dip, and babywipes, are a big deal out here and make life a lot easier on a daily basis. In fact, there is no doubt that the happiest days out here are the ones during which we get shipments of mail. I’ve never seen adult men act like children on Christmas the way we do out here whenever the mail shows up. There is no doubt that care packages from loved ones and thoughtful organizations like yours are the single best morale booster we have out here. We really appreciate everything that you do for us and our brothers while we’re deployed, and I want to make sure you know that your efforts have a significant impact on our ability to stay focused and happy out here as the days get long and time away from families starts to wear on everyone. Thanks again for everything.

DEPLOYMENT DATE: November, 2015

Dear Badassboxes,
Waking up away from your family is tough, but doing so on deployment is extra hard. We don’t get days off on deployment and it really comes down to the little things that make you happy. I am the mail clerk for our unit (certified of course) so your boxes are safe here, hahaha. When I bring the mail back to base and there are boxes for the group it’s like I’m Santa. Seriously, the moral of everyone goes way up when we get your boxes because everyone gets a little something. Normal mail is sent to one guy, and some guys don’t get much mail at all, but your mail provides stuff for everyone to get excited about.
The best thing about your gift boxes is they remind everyone of home. We don’t have a store on base so the only American items we have are what we brought. For someone who is on their first deployment, the lack of experience is evident because they forget to bring American items like chewing tobacco in excess. I have to admit I am one of those people. Receiving your last shipment saved my life. A little tobacco every now and then really does take the edge off. Thanks for caring enough to take time out of your life to make ours that much better. I promise you, those boxes mean more to us than you can imagine.

DEPLOYMENT DATE: November, 2015

Dear Badassboxes,
Life is like a box of your badassboxes out here, they bring joy to every single one of us out here. We love opening up your care packages and seeing your time and effort in choosing what goes into these boxes. When the electricity goes out and all I want to do is read a book I can count on your candles that you have sent us. I personally like to eat as healthy as possible and when there is a dinner that is a little to unhealthy for my liking I can go and get some tuna that you guys sent or maybe snack on some beef jerky. Living out here isn’t horrible but the things that i miss most about home is good healthy home cooking, my wife and just the little things about being home. Thank you Badassboxes for all your support and making our time out here more enjoyable.

DEPLOYMENT DATE: November, 2015

Dear BadassBoxes,
I’ve been stationed out here almost two months now. It’s definitely tough being so far away from family and friends, but besides that, I think I miss eating good food the most. The mountain houses and beef jerky are great for mixing up the diet when we rotate between 3 or 4 different meals. The dip you all send out is always appreciated as well. This is my first deployment, and I definitely forgot to bring some important things. Luckily I’ve been able to grab all the mountain houses and dip I need from your boxes. We go to pick up mail almost every day, but usually nothing comes in. I think the most excitement I’ve seen out of the guys so far is when we bring your boxes in to the platoon space. Thank you for taking so much time out of your lives to help us out. You have no idea how much that pack of beef jerky or can of dip can mean to us.

DEPLOYMENT DATE: November, 2015

To our friends at BadAssBoxes.org,
I want to take a moment and thank you for the support you have shown the guys and I during our deployment. It is easy to take for granted the comforts of home until you leave your family and friends and travel to a place like this that has so very little. As uncomfortable as it can be out here, little things have a disproportionate ability to raise moral and improve day to day living. Things you take for granted back in the States quickly become commodities in the desert, and their arrival brings a smile to everyone’s face. Dip, candles, snacks, and really anything that reminds us of our incredible support network back home represents both a comfort item and a reassurance that people have our backs while we’re away. Thank you for your support and please know that the guys on the receiving end recognize and appreciate your help.
